Established in 2005, Media Kompass began its activity as a media monitoring agency, exclusively addressing healthcare and pharmaceutical organizations.

Today, Media Kompassis a group of companies providing integrated services, customized for the healthcare and pharma industry players. Through the member companies of our group, we cover a wide range of services:from PR, media & communication (strategy, creation, implementation, support, monitoring and analysis), to specialized consultancy for medical/pharma areas. Also, we developed two communication platforms for HCPs and patients (a medical news website –www.360medical.roand a digital signage network, installed in pharmacies and clinics/hospitals).

Our professional approach, together with a dedicated team of specialists, have consistently contributed to the group’s development through the years and have led to us becoming a trustworthy business partner for more than 100 organizations (pharmaceutical companies, distributors, pharmacies, private clinics, media & PR agencies, multimedia platforms etc.).

    2005

    Media Kompass, the first Romanian media monitoring agency providing dedicated services for the medical industry, is established.

    2009

    Healthcare Digital Info (HDI) is established. HDI provides support activities for Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affairs departments • First major qualitative media analysis report, conducted for a top player in the pharma industry, on media coverage quality of the cervical cancer vaccination campaign.

    2011

    NAMMD license for conducting readability testing of patient information leaflets.

    2013

    brandity®, a communication, marketing and digital signage platform, is established • ISO 9001/2008 certification by TUV Austria • AmCham membership

    2014

    PharmacyTV & HealthcareTV – DOOH media channels exclusively dedicated to medical units and pharmacies in Romania • Medical translations services are developed.

    2015

    First videos for the pharmaceutical industry • 24/7 call-center – pharmacovigilance, quality complaints, medical information, availability.  

    2016

    Online and Social Media monitoring services • First major qualitative media analysis report, conducted for a top player in the pharma industry, on media coverage quality of the acquisition of another pharma company.

    2017

    Real-time alerts for media monitoring services • Event-planning for the first medical conference powered by Media Kompass(the event generated more than 100 news articles, including top TV stations and newspapers/ magazines.

    2018

    360medical.ro was launched, a medical online news platform for professionals • ISO 9001/2015 certification by TUV Austria • New consultancy services –pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs and market access.

    2019

    New consulting services in the field of healthcare technology assessment and GMP, GDP, GLP, through recognized experts in the field joining the MK team • Training courses in HTA, GxP (FV, GMP, GDP), Advertising • More to come… stay tuned!

Our Vision

Media Kompass is a Romanian innovative company in healthcare, an enthusiastic and knowledge-driven mindlab trying to overcome, in order to constantly improve, the current professional approaches towards the medicines and medical devices (MMD) market.

Knowledge is the way we approach new trends, with a team of professionals with recognized skills both in Romania as well as EU and international levels.

The idea of having an innovation team within the company is not new. We became an updated innovative and modern version, in the sense of delivering superior services to the pharma and healthcare sectors. We plan to work deeper in the knowledge-innovation space to identify all spots where we can do things better and harness the many benefits of new business, regulatory and data trends/models.

For the near future, our business target is to transform Media Kompass into a Task force that would be considered “the place to go” when dealing with new technologies, challenging projects and the need of creative and exhaustive approaches within the MMD market.
